Our Annual Hill Walk

Today the community headed up to Torr Beag above Corbenic

This carries on a tradition that has been part of Corbenic life for nearly 50 years.

We set out for our annual community hill walk and kite flying. The sun shone and the breeze up top was perfect for kite flying. First however we enjoyed sandwiches in the warm June sun. Recent rain ensured crisp visibility and an explosion of wildflowers. Carpets of heath bedstraw were interspersed with bluebells and orchids.
Well done everyone for walking up the hill! And down again!
